Masimba Ushe was born in London and trained at the Royal Academy of Music where he received his Masters in Vocal Studies 2021. He subsequently attended Morley Opera School. He has been performing in operas since 2019 when he made his debut as part of the Bass chorus, Porgy and Bess, (Grange Park Opera). His principal debut was performing the role of Sarastro, The Magic Flute, (Upper mill Festival & King’s Opera) which he has played twice so far. He has most recently played the role of , Alcade La Forza del Destino, (Regents Opera) and is now working on the production of Britten’s Albert Herring where he is due to play Superintendent Bud, Albert Herring, (Saint Paul’s Opera).
