Nafissatou Batu Daramy is a British mezzo-soprano of African and Asian descent. She is an alumna of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, and was part of the 2018 cohort of the Alexander Gibson Opera School. During her training, she made notable collaborations  with acclaimed trumpet player John Wallace and composer Edward McGuire. In operatic chorus work, Nafissatou was a member of the Porgy and Bess Ensemble at English National Opera. The ensemble and production won an Olivier Award and South Bank Sky Arts Award respectively. She subsequently joined the ENO Chorus for their seasons 2019 -2021.
