Croydon Harmony is a free community choir led by Pegasus Opera Company and Christina Carty (Vocallective Choir/Breathe Arts Health Research/London Met University), hosted at St Stephen’s Church, Norbury and Thornton Heath.
Croydon Harmony has been created to establish a welcoming, weekly daytime choir for adults in Croydon, open to people of all backgrounds and abilities. The project aims to promote wellbeing, confidence and social connection through inclusive, joyful music-making.
Each session will celebrate cultural heritage through a rich and uplifting mix of music, from gospel to Caribbean folk songs to some opera and classical music! Everything is taught in a friendly, supportive way – no auditions, no experience required and no need to read music. Just come along and enjoy singing together – you are welcome to join us at any session!
We’d be very grateful if you could share this opportunity with anyone you think would be interested!
