We appreciate that considering a gift or legacy is a truly wonderful gesture and Pegasus Opera Company thank you sincerely.

It is the generosity of our Friends and Supporters that enable us to continue bringing the world of opera to a wider and more diverse audience. Here are two types of gift you can leave in your will;
Residuary gifts (This is a gift of all or part of the value of your estate, once all your other commitments have been settled) – “I give [state proportion e.g. one third] of the residue of my estate to Pegasus Opera Company Ltd. (Registered charity no. 1052704) absolutely for its general charitable purposes. My Trustees shall have no further duties relating to this benefit if they obtain the written receipt from the treasurer or other appropriate officer of Pegasus Opera Company.”
Pecuniary gifts – (This is a gift of a specific sum of money, for example. £5,000. Your solicitor can ensure this in index linked to protect your gift against inflation) “I give the sum of [amount in words] (£______ [amount in figures]) to Pegasus Opera Company “I give the sum of [amount in words] (£______ [amount in figures]) to Pegasus Opera Company Ltd (Registered charity no. 1052704) absolutely for its general charitable purposes. My Trustees shall have no further duties relating to this benefit if they obtain the written receipt from the treasurer or other appropriate officer of Pegasus Opera Company.”
