A thrilling female-driven opera double bill from Pegasus Opera Company and Hagemann Rosenthal Associates, directed by Josette Bushell-Mingo OBE, starring award-winning singers Nadine Benjamin, Alison Buchanan and Bernadine Pritchett.
Featuring a UK premiere, ‘Roman Fever’ by Philip Hagemann followed two widows from Manhattan to Rome, dissecting the mysteries of intersecting relationships culminating in a shocking revelation. Performed in English, Poulenc’s ‘The Human Voice’ (La voix humaine) is a psychological masterpiece of unrequited love, for solo soprano with orchestra.
